Qr Code Gen
What it does
Creates QR codes for URLs, text, contact info or Wi-Fi. Download as PNG or SVG.
You need a QR code for marketing, business cards or events — but most generators add watermarks or require payment
QR codes are everywhere — on business cards, posters, product packaging, restaurant menus, events and marketing materials. But creating a QR code that looks professional and works reliably is harder than it should be. Most free generators add watermarks, limit resolution, require registration or track usage. Paid solutions cost $1-5 per month for something that is technically a simple operation.
- Watermarks ruin professionalism — free generators often add logos or watermarks on the QR code that make it unprofessional on printed materials
- Low resolution gives blurry codes — many generators only give low-resolution PNG files that become blurry when printed in large format on posters or banners
- Registration and tracking — most services require registration and track how many times the QR code is scanned, which is unnecessary for simple use cases
- Limited data types — many generators only support URLs, but you may need QR codes for Wi-Fi passwords, contact info (vCard), email addresses or plain text
Professional QR codes in high resolution — without watermarks, without registration, without limitations
QR Code Gen creates professional QR codes for URLs, Wi-Fi passwords, contact info, email addresses and plain text — completely free and without watermarks. You get the QR code in both PNG (for digital use) and SVG (for print in all sizes without quality loss). Everything is generated locally in the browser, so no data is sent to servers.
- No watermarks: all QR codes are clean and professional — no logos, watermarks or advertising that ruins the appearance on printed materials
- High resolution: download as SVG for infinite scalability — perfect for posters, banners and large format without quality loss
- Multiple data types: supports URLs, Wi-Fi passwords, contact info (vCard), email addresses, phone numbers, SMS and plain text — everything you need
- Local generation: the QR code is generated in the browser — no data is sent to servers, no registration, no tracking
Features
- URL QR codes: generate QR codes that open a website when scanned — perfect for marketing, business cards and product packaging
- Wi-Fi QR codes: create a QR code that automatically connects the phone to the Wi-Fi network — perfect for cafes, hotels, offices and events
- vCard QR codes: generate a QR code with contact information (name, phone, email, company) that is added directly to the phone contact list when scanned
- SVG export: download the QR code as SVG for perfect quality in all sizes — from business cards to posters without pixelation
How it works
- Choose data type (URL, Wi-Fi, contact info, email, text) and enter the content — e.g. your web address or Wi-Fi password
- Customize the appearance — choose size, color combination and error correction level for the QR code
- Download the QR code as PNG for digital use or SVG for print — ready to use on business cards, posters or websites
Use cases
- Businesses that need QR codes on business cards, product packaging and marketing materials to direct customers to the website, app or offer
- Restaurants and cafes using QR codes for digital menus — guests scan the code and get the menu on their phone without touching physical menus
- Event organizers who need QR codes for tickets, registration, Wi-Fi access and information — so participants get everything they need with one scan
Why use QR Code Gen?
QR codes have become a standard part of marketing and communication — from business cards and product packaging to restaurant menus and events. QR Code Gen gives you professional codes without watermarks, limitations or costs — in seconds.
SVG export is the biggest advantage for professional use. Most free generators only give low-resolution PNG files that become blurry in print. With SVG you get perfect quality in all sizes — from a small business card to a large poster — without pixelation.
Wi-Fi QR codes are an underrated feature. Instead of writing the Wi-Fi password on a note, guests, customers and employees can just scan a QR code to connect automatically. It is simpler, faster and more professional — and the tool does it in seconds.
FAQ
- Do the QR codes expire?
- No, QR codes generated with this tool never expire. They are static codes that contain the data directly — no server involved, no subscription needed. As long as the URL or data is valid, the QR code works forever.
- What size should the QR code be?
- For print a minimum of 2x2 cm is recommended. For posters and banners use SVG format that scales without quality loss. For digital use (websites, email) 200x200 pixels is sufficient for most scanners.
- What is error correction level?
- QR codes have built-in error correction that makes them work even if parts of the code are damaged or covered. Higher level (L, M, Q, H) tolerates more damage but makes the code larger. For most use cases M (medium) is sufficient.
- Can I add a logo to the QR code?
- The tool generates clean QR codes without logo. If you want to add a logo in the center, you can do it in an image editing program — use high error correction (H) so the code still works with the logo.
