AI Citation Score — User Guide

NordicPulse AI's tool for measuring how AI engines cite your brand over time.

What is AI Citation Score?

AI Citation Score (ACS) measures how strongly your brand is cited in AI answers. You observe a real AI answer and record four sub-scores — Visibility (S), Position (P), Source diversity (D), and Tone & accuracy (T). The tool computes the score in code, never by guessing.

How to use the tool

1. Choose a project

Pick the project (brand) you are tracking at the top of the page. Each run is stored on this project.

2. Create a run

Click New run. Give it a name (e.g. "June 2026 — Baseline") and pick a market. Add one or more prompts: type the prompt, choose category and platform, and pick the rubric value for S, P, D, and T based on the actual AI answer.

3. Compute ACS

Click Compute ACS (10 credits). The score is computed and you are taken to the dashboard.

Understanding the results

Cost

10 credits per completed run. The tool calls no paid API — you run the prompts yourself.

Data integrity

The score is computed deterministically in code from your observations. The AI model never generates the number. Sub-scores are inspectable beside the score.
