AI Ranking Simulator
AI Ranking Simulator asks an AI model to assess how AI search engines would likely rank a page for a given keyword. You get a total score, a simulated position, six ranking signals and concrete recommendations.
Be clear about what this is: a simulation. The tool does not fetch your page and does not look up real search results. The assessment is based on the model's knowledge of the domain and what it expects of the content. The result carries an "AI Sim" badge in the app for exactly that reason. If you want measured visibility, use AI Visibility Radar.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants a quick second opinion on a page and a keyword before investing in optimization. The simulation is good at pointing out weaknesses and setting direction, not at documenting actual rankings.
Prerequisites
- Growth plan or higher
- 25 credits per run
- A URL and a keyword
Step by step
- Paste the URL of the page you want assessed.
- Enter the keyword or query to assess against.
- Run the simulation. Credits are deducted and refunded automatically if the run fails.
Reading the results
- Total score (0 to 100) and simulated position give the headline picture. Positions 1 to 3 count as strong, 4 to 6 as competitive.
- The six signals (entity relevance, topical authority, E-E-A-T, content quality, freshness and citability) show where the model thinks the page is weak. Use them as a priority list.
- Dilution risk estimates whether your topic is spread too thin.
- The competitor table lists five assumed competitors with strengths and weaknesses. Remember these are the model's guesses too.
- The recommendations at the bottom are the most actionable part. Start there.
Common problems
- "Something went wrong". The model did not return a valid answer. Try again; credits from the failed run are refunded.
- Unrealistically high or low score. Well-known domains tend to score high regardless of the page, and unknown ones low. Read the signal explanations rather than trusting the number alone.
Limitations
- The page is not fetched. Changes you published recently do not affect the result.
- No real SERP or AI Overview data is involved.
- Competitors and scores are model judgments and can vary between runs.
