AI Visibility Radar
AI Visibility Radar measures your domain's share of the AI voice in Google AI Overviews, compared against up to three competitors. The numbers come from DataForSEO's LLM Mentions database. This is real measurement data, not an AI estimate.
You get two separate scores: how often your brand name is mentioned in AI answers, and how often your domain is cited as a source. They tell different stories. A brand can be well known without its site being used as a source, and the other way around.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants to know whether AI search actually surfaces their brand, and how they compare to competitors. Most useful when the brand already has some visibility; brand-new domains often have no measurable mentions yet.
Prerequisites
- Growth plan or higher
- 75 credits per analysis
- A domain to analyze. The competitor list is optional but recommended
Step by step
- Enter your domain.
- Optionally add your brand name. Without it, the tool derives the name from the domain, which usually works fine.
- Add up to three competitor domains, comma separated. Anything beyond three is dropped.
- Pick a market. Norway is the default; 16 markets across the Nordics, Europe and the US are available.
- Run the analysis. Credits are deducted up front and refunded automatically if the run fails.
Reading the results
- Mentioned in AI answers and Cited as source are the headline scores. Cited as source is the stricter and more valuable of the two.
- Share of voice shows the split between you and your competitors per score.
- The trend shows month-by-month movement, including mentions won and lost.
- Top domains lists which sources AI answers cite most in your niche. Look here for sites you should be on.
If you see a partial-report warning, one or more sections lacked data. The numbers shown are still real, but the picture is incomplete.
Common problems
- No data for the domain. The run stops and your credits are refunded. Most common for small or new domains in small markets.
- Generic brand name. If your brand is also an everyday word, the name score can be inflated because the search picks up the word in unrelated contexts. Domain citations are not affected by this.
Limitations
- Measures Google AI Overviews only. ChatGPT data exists only for US/English and is therefore not used.
- History goes back no further than August 2025.
- Maximum three competitors per run.
