Bridge Builder

Bridge Builder analyzes your site's internal link structure. It fetches your sitemap, crawls up to 100 content pages with real HTTP calls, counts inbound and outbound links per page, and then has AI suggest link opportunities and fixes for pages left isolated.

The stats (page count, link count, average per page) are measured from actual crawling. The lists of orphan pages, link opportunities and recommendations are AI suggestions built on that measured data.

Who it's for

Anyone who suspects good pages are drowning because nothing links to them. Internal linking is among the cheapest SEO wins there is, and most sites have unlinked content without knowing it.

Prerequisites

• Starter plan or higher
• 10 credits per analysis
• A public site with a sitemap (sitemap.xml or a sitemap index)

Step by step

1. Enter the domain, for example yourcompany.com, without https.
2. Start the analysis. Progress is shown phase by phase: sitemap, crawling, analysis, suggestions.
3. Wait for the report. Credits are refunded automatically if the analysis fails.

Reading the results

• The stats row gives the measured picture: total pages, internal links and the average per page. Under 3 internal links on average is a weak mesh.
• Orphan pages are listed with a concrete suggestion for where the link should live and what anchor text fits.
• Link opportunities are prioritized high, medium and low. Take the high ones first.
• The top and bottom lists show your most and least linked pages. The bottom list is often the most instructive.

The report can be copied as text. It is not saved in the app, so copy before you close.

Common problems

• "No sitemap found": check that yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml actually responds. Without a sitemap the tool cannot find your pages.
• Empty orphan list despite suspicions: the suggestion lists come from the AI analysis, and an empty list can mean the analysis failed to interpret the data, not necessarily that everything is linked. Rerun if the stats otherwise look off.

Limitations

• Maximum 100 content pages per analysis; large sites are analyzed partially.
• Admin, image and legal pages are skipped on purpose.
• Results are not persisted.
