Category Designer
Category Designer helps you own a category of your own instead of competing in an existing one. The tool proposes three trademarkable methodology names for your niche (in the "The X Protocol" style), assesses how protectable each name likely is, and then builds a complete definition page for the name you pick, with Schema.org DefinedTerm markup and ready-made HTML.
The idea: AI search engines cite whoever defines a term. If you coin the term, you are the source.
Who it's for
Anyone selling methodology or expertise who wants a name for the way they work, whether for positioning, talks or AEO.
Prerequisites
- 20 credits per run. Step 2 (the definition page) costs nothing extra
- A description of your niche
Step by step
- Describe your niche in the text field. Include who you help and what is different about your approach.
- Review the three name proposals. Each card shows a tagline, a trademark-potential assessment (high, medium, low) and the reasoning behind it.
- Pick the name to build on. The definition page generates without a new charge.
- Copy from the tabs: the definition as markdown, the Schema.org block, or the full HTML page.
Reading the results
The trademark assessment is an AI judgment, not legal advice; always check against your trademark office before investing in a name. The JSON-LD block contains a placeholder URL (example.com); swap it for your own address before publishing.
Common problems
- "Could not generate methodology names": try again; failed step 1 runs are refunded automatically.
- An error in step 2: you are sent back to the name selection and can regenerate without a new charge.
Limitations
- Always exactly three name proposals per run.
- The HTML is a starting point; complex formatting should be reviewed before publishing.
- Results are not persisted; copy what you want to keep.
