What is Discover Readiness Checker?
Google Discover is a mobile content feed that shows articles based on user interests. Discover can drive significant traffic, but only to pages that meet technical and content requirements. This tool checks 14 critical signals across 5 categories.
How to use
1. Enter the URL
Type the URL you want to check. Best suited for articles, blog posts, and news pages.
2. Start the check
Click Check and wait while the tool:
- Fetches HTML from the URL (Live data)
- Analyzes content, images, meta tags, and schema
- Runs 14 Discover checks
- Generates AI-powered recommendations
3. Read the results
The output includes:
- Overall Discover score (0–100) with visual gauge
- 5 categories with individual scores and pass/fail
- 14 checks with detailed explanations
- AI recommendations prioritized by impact

Tips
- Scan individual articles rather than homepages — Discover is about article content
- Ensure og:image is at least 1200px wide (Google's requirement)
- Add Article schema with datePublished for freshness signals
- Keep titles between 30–90 characters for optimal Discover display
