Listicle Architect
Listicle Architect is a manual builder for "best X" lists: you enter the items yourself — rank, name, specifications, pros and cons, verdict — and the tool produces correct schema.org ItemList markup (JSON-LD) that qualifies the list for featured snippets and rich results.
Be aware of what the tool is not: there is no AI and no competitor analysis here — you write all content yourself. That is also the point: structured markup around your own, real assessments. How to use it
- Fill in list title, category and description.
- Add items: rank, name, "best for" tags, spec table, pros/cons, verdict and URL.
- Move items up and down until the order is right.
- Copy the JSON-LD from the preview into the page's
<head>, or download the whole list as JSON.
How to read the result
- The schema preview is the actual deliverable — that markup is what search engines read.
- The ethics warning appears if you rank your own product number one with "self-ranked" checked; Google penalizes hidden self-promotion in comparisons, so disclose the relationship on the page.
- Validate the markup in Google's Rich Results Test before publishing.
Common errors
- The schema fails validation: check that every item has a name and that URLs are absolute.
- The list disappeared: nothing is saved automatically — download the JSON before closing the tab.
Limitations
- No AI help with the copy itself; the tool structures, you write.
- No auto-save or history.
- Markup helps qualification, not guaranteed display — Google decides what gets rich results.
