Reputation Shield
When someone googles your brand, page 1 is the first impression. The tool fetches the actual search results for your brand name and shows who controls them: you, media and third parties, or negative coverage.
The search is real. Top results are fetched from Google via Serper, and each hit is classified by ownership and tone. AI handles the classification and action suggestions, always on the actual fetched results, never on invented ones.
Who the tool is for
Anyone who wants to know what customers and candidates meet when they search the company name, and what can be done about it.
Prerequisites
- Logged-in account
- 20 credits per scan
- Your brand name and the domain that counts as "yours"
How to use the tool
- Enter your brand name and domain.
- Click Scan. The tool fetches the search results and classifies each hit.
How to read the result
- Controlled by you: hits on your own domain and profiles you manage. The more of these on page 1, the more robust your reputation.
- Third party: media, directories and review sites. Not necessarily negative, but outside your control.
- Needs attention: hits with a negative tone. These are shown honestly, with links, so you can judge them yourself.
- Action suggestions are AI-generated from the classified hits and labeled as AI content.
- If the search fails, it is shown as failed and the charge is refunded. Fictional hits are never shown.
Common mistakes
- Ambiguous brand names. If you share a name with other businesses, you get their hits too. Add a place or industry to the name.
- Expecting monitoring. The scan is a snapshot. Run it regularly if you want to follow the trend.
Limitations
- Tone classification is AI-based and can miss irony and mixed coverage. Read the hits yourself before acting.
- The search runs with Norwegian geography. International brands can look different in other markets.
- The tool removes nothing from Google. It shows the situation and suggests actions.
