A NordicPulse account (Scout free or paid plan) · An MCP API key (generated in your dashboard under Settings → API) · Node.js 18+ installed locally.
NordicPulse MCP uses API keys prefixed with np_mcp_. Keys are stored hashed (SHA-256) — we never see the plaintext version after generation. Log in to nordicpulse.ai → Settings → API Keys · Click 'Generate new MCP key' · Copy the key and add it to your AI client's configuration (see above).
Tools don't show up in the AI client? Check that the MCP server is running (node dist/index.js). Look for error messages in the terminal. Restart the AI client after configuration changes. Error: 'Insufficient credits'? Check your credit balance at nordicpulse.ai/app. Credits are deducted per tool call. Purchase more credits or upgrade your plan. Error: 'Rate limit exceeded'? You've reached the limit for your plan. Wait until the next hour/day, or upgrade to a higher tier.
