Hidden Gems

What it does

Goes through the keyword data you paste from Search Console and points out keywords on page 2-3 that can be lifted to page 1 with moderate effort.

You have keywords on page 2-3 that could be on page 1 with little effort

Most websites already rank for hundreds of keywords they never think about — at position 11-30 in Google. These keywords sit so close to page 1 that small improvements can make a noticeable difference. But without going systematically through your Search Console data, the opportunities stay hidden in the spreadsheet.

Identify keywords that can be lifted to page 1 with moderate effort

Hidden Gems goes through the keyword data you paste and points out keywords around position 8-20 where click potential is highest. For each keyword you get a concrete action plan: what should be improved on the existing page to climb to page 1.

Features

How it works

  1. Export the keyword report from Search Console and paste the rows into the field
  2. The AI goes through the list and points out the keywords with the greatest potential
  3. Get a prioritized list with an action plan for each keyword

Use cases

Why use Hidden Gems?

The fastest path to more organic traffic is rarely creating new content — it's improving content that already ranks. A keyword at position 12 just needs a push to reach page 1, while a new keyword has to build authority from scratch. Hidden Gems finds these "almost there" opportunities in the data you already have.

The return is good because the work is small. Lifting ten keywords from position 12 to position 7 can take an afternoon of optimization. Compare that to writing ten new articles from scratch — which takes weeks and may never reach page 1. It's one of the more predictable ways to spend SEO time.

The data already exists — it just needs to be used. Search Console holds a lot of information about which keywords your site ranks for. Most people only look at the top of the list and leave the rest. Hidden Gems goes through the whole dataset you paste and surfaces what you would otherwise scroll past.

FAQ

Why is position 8-20 so interesting?
Click share drops sharply down the results list, and the steepest drop sits between page 1 and page 2. A keyword just below the page 1 threshold therefore needs less work to produce noticeably more traffic than a keyword that has to climb all the way from the bottom.
What kind of improvements are typically needed?
Common measures: update the title so it matches search intent better, expand the content where coverage is thin, add internal links from other relevant pages, rewrite the meta description for a higher click-through rate, and refresh the content with newer information.
Do I need Search Console?
You need the data from it, but the tool does not connect to your account. Export the keyword report as CSV, or copy the rows straight from the interface, and paste them in. The tool only assesses what you paste.
How often should I run this analysis?
Monthly is a sensible interval. Rankings shift steadily and new opportunities appear. The tool has no background job and sends no alerts — you run it when you have fresh data to paste.
What if the keyword has low volume?
If your data includes impression and click figures, they are factored into the assessment. Low-volume keywords can be valuable anyway when the intent is commercial — for example "buy heat pump Drammen".
